The strength that comes in little sips from her coffee cup all stained and chipped. Lasts less than the lengths this morning has placed before her in biscotti and scones. Cranberry-orange triangles of sweetly dipped and now caffeinated morsels ought to be chewed, then eschewed and quietly complete with the last setting of cup and sup. But these scones! and biscotti abundant lay scattered and piled on crooked plates and scattered settings. And her coffee is gone all stained and chipped she enters once more this length of day looking once more to tomorrow’s cup and little sips of strength and joy.
