21.
I came to the shadow
of Pulchowki Mountain.
Again to this place
that I love.
To know
or be known
in a place
not your own?
To plant vineyards
and grow gardens
in Babylon?
A longing for home.
Yet this shadow
of Pulchowki Mountain
is cast in such a way
that if you tilt your
head just right
and squint your eyes
just a bit
you might just
catch a glimpse
of home.
22.
To be
conversant
with stillness.
To sit with
the silence.
To walk in
the way of
the quiet.
23.
To spend a lifetime
under one tree.
